Child-Friendly Lunch Plates

Here are a few more child-friendly lunch ideas:

*Whole wheat ravioli

*apple slices with peanut butter on top

*kiwi slices

*Homemade pea soup (we like ours lumpy...but this batch didn't turn out very good. It was missing something; we did still eat it)

*Kiwi slices

*watermelon chunks. We weren't intending to have watermelon that day but Joe threw the whole watermelon off the table, splitting it open. We cut it up and enjoyed it for lunch.

What is your go-to lunch that is a hit with everyone?

  1. Lunch for us is very laid back. The kids love fresh fruit and yogurt on hot days . I often warm up leftovers.Sometimes peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, or macaroni and cheese. They like having a plate with compartments that I have put different things in each space...raisins, baby carrots, crackers, cubes of fruit, etc. That's easy and nutrious! :) It's fun to spread a blanket on the floor and have an indoor picnic! --Dee
