The Loving Kitchen

I wonder if I'm the only one who gets excited about a cookbook only to find out that most recipes are elaborate, expensive, and altogether time consuming (not to mention, something my family probably wouldn't eat to begin with). The Loving Kitchen by LeAnn Rice was not one of those cookbooks - these are real life recipes with a Southern twist.

*Cinnamon Scones

*Pumpkin Spice Pancakes

*Chicken and Rice Casserole

*Chocolate Zucchini Snack Cake

The list goes on an on of what I ran across and want to make while flipping through this cookbook. These recipes sound like something Grandma would make that become a family tradition. I also love the layout and the photos in the book. I hope to find that this cookbook becomes a staple in our house.
