3 Years
December 16, 2010 - Exactly three years ago today our world changed forever when Jacob was diagnosed with cancer. 4 days later he had an 8 hour surgery to remove his left kidney, nodules in the lungs, and install a port in his chest. He then underwent 11 days of radiation and 8 months of chemotherapy. Only to repeat the process 6 months later and end with a 40 day hospital stay while receiving a stem cell transplant. 6 months later he relapsed again and he passed away 8 months later. He went through so, so much but always kept a smile on his face. Our little boy will never have pain again as he plays in Heaven forever.

All of us who have followed you I think can remember that day. I remember it vividly as we'll. I was checking in awaiting to here a cool bargin a tip a quick meal etc and there was this post your on the way to the dr.....ugh I remember feeling sick and sad. I have followed and prayed since then...I'm so sorry you have had this journey you your family as a mom to an angel I'm horrified how yrs can feel like days days like years moments like time warped thoughts then in the mix reality. It reshape so us parts of die with them not that it belong to them but the innocence. Know we're here for you as you navigate this leg of our journey embrace the new you the new family dynamics. You have been taught lessons from your angel you can't remain the same....god bless you this season as I know it is highly emotional and painful
